Fruit production
State-of-the-art technology combined with ideal natural conditions. On our estate near Sombor we run intensive production of top-quality apples on more than 40 hectares.
In 2017, Meteor Commerce planted one of the most modern apple orchards in the region on its estate near Sombor, in the Radojevići area. Today the orchard covers 40 ha in total, with roughly 37 ha of planted area, in a region with exceptionally favorable climate and soil (edaphic) conditions for intensive apple production.

Varieties in the orchard
This estate grows well-known varieties that are in strong demand: Golden Delicious, Granny Smith and Gala.

2024 expansion
In addition, in 2024 a new orchard was established on 14 ha with the Gala and Granny Smith varieties and, as in the rest of the orchard, planted with high-quality nursery trees imported directly from Europe.

Irrigation
The orchard is fully equipped and completely covered by a modern irrigation system, as well as by hail protection, which significantly reduces the risk of damage from severe weather.
Frost-protection system
Added security in production comes from a frost-protection system with a storage reservoir of 2 ha, which provides full coverage of the orchard and protection from late spring frosts.
Through the use of modern technologies and the continuous improvement of production, Meteor Commerce achieves high fruit quality and stable yields, meeting the highest standards of modern fruit growing.
