Meteor Commerce is one of the leading agribusiness companies in the West Bačka District, with a business tradition of 30 years. Since the opening of its first agro-pharmacy in Sombor in 1996, the company has grown into a stable, modern business system and a reliable partner to thousands of farmers.

The heart of fertile Vojvodina
The company is headquartered in Sombor, in the northwestern part of Vojvodina, a region known for its exceptionally fertile plains and long farming tradition.
Thanks to the quality of its soil and favorable agro-climatic conditions, this region achieves some of the highest field-crop yields in Serbia.

From the first agro-pharmacy in Sombor in 1996 to a modern business system with its own production, storage capacity and network of retail stores.

The company officially begins operations and opens its first agro-pharmacy in Sombor.

An agro-pharmacy opens in Telečka.

1998
An agro-pharmacy opens in Kupusina.

2001
A wholesale center opens in Sombor.

2003
An agro-pharmacy opens in Crvenka.

2005
Agro-pharmacies open in Stanišić and Odžaci, along with a farm department store in Sombor with 200 m² of sales floor in total.

2006
An agro-pharmacy opens in Prigrevica.

2007
A newly built facility opens in Sombor — head office, wholesale and agro-pharmacy, together with new silos of 3,500 t capacity and a further 2,000 t of storage space.

2009
Agro-pharmacies open in Kula and Bezdan.

2010
Storage capacity of 5,000 t is bought in Riđica, along with the first arable land — 525 ha in total.

2012
New silos with 3,000 t of storage capacity are built in Sombor.

2013
The acquisition of the "Zadrugarka Sombor" agricultural cooperative expands storage capacity by a further 32,000 t and arable land by another 242 ha.

Meteor Commerce becomes the owner of RTV Sreća Sombor.

2016
A modern irrigation system is brought into operation across all of the company's arable farmland.

An agro-pharmacy opens in Stapar.

2018
An apple orchard covering 25 ha in total comes into production, along with a newly built agro-pharmacy in Telečka with 450 t of storage capacity.
A new agro-pharmacy opens in Bezdan with its own 500 t of storage capacity.

A newly built farm department store opens in Odžaci with 150 m² of sales floor and 300 t of storage capacity.
Arable farmland is expanded by 392 ha.

2020
Meteor Commerce buys a cold storage facility.
Business operations are digitalized with the implementation of a modern ERP system.

A new purchasing point with 2,000 t of storage capacity is bought in Kolut.

A newly built farm department store opens in Crvenka with 250 m² of sales floor.

A new purchasing point with 3,000 t of storage capacity is bought in Telečka.
